Getting a new bathroom can be expensive. However, there are affordable ways to renovate your bathroom to make it look brand new. With a range of possibilities to consider, there are many small touches that you can do at a low price to enhance your bathroom experience. This includes and is not restricted to getting better shelves that can help make your bathroom look bigger.
Renovation ideas for small bathrooms can help you make the most of he space you have. This is especially important for many condo owners who will often have little room for more than a small bath tub, sink and towel racks. However, it's possible to transform even the smallest bathroom by maximizing the style and storage space.
Too often, homeowners try to install large fixtures in their small bathrooms and end up with a space that feels even more cramped. It is wiser to spend the money on top quality faucets and fixtures which are an appropriate size for the space instead. It's not necessary to sacrifice style, quality or good design to save space if you make the most of every inch you've got. One good way to maximize space is to install pocket doors and pedestal sinks.

Well, it was classic. My husband and I were looking for a new house and found a great one. The only thing to discuss was whether to renovate the bathrooms and kitchen. My husband said he could make do. I truly could not! So I scheduled an in-home visit with an Empire Today representative in order to look at some flooring options. It was then that my husband started to see the light. Before that, he was thinking purely about function, but then he started to see how important form is. I told him it's what creates ambiance, what really makes a house a home. He saw how much he really liked the Empire Today tiling options, for instance. He began to see that he did have quite a response to different patterns and colors. Some he really didn't like at all and others he found to be beautiful. He saw that your surroundings, in fact, really matter. It's not like he had lived in a box prior to all this! It's just that he had never really tuned in enough to have full appreciation. So now that he's waking up to all this, I do look forward to making decisions together…I hope we'll have compatible tastes in design!

When selecting the best bathroom flooring option for your home you may want to consider bathroom carpet as an alternative to traditional tile floors. This may seem like an odd choice for the bathroom environment because of the amount of moisture that bathroom floors must withstand. However, if you choose your bathroom carpeting carefully to be stain and mildew resistant it can be an excellent option. You must also ensure that the Empire Carpet backing you choose does not let water seep through into the padding beneath.
There are many carpeting options today which fall within these parameters. Installing carpeting in your bathroom provides warmth, softness and many beautiful pattern and color options. Carpeting can also be an economical flooring option for your bathroom, but there are a number of tips to keep in mind in order to make carpeting work well in the bathroom.
The material that your bathroom carpet is made from is very important, and experts recommend that carpet made from 100% Olefin is your best option. The adhesive you use is also very important, and you must ensure that it is an adhesive designed for indoor and outdoor use. It is advisable to purchase a commercial grade adhesive that is resistant to water and is solvent free.
When it comes to the type of pile you select, in general a lower pile is recommended because it will absorb less moisture. Minimizing the amount of moisture your bathroom carpet absorbs is very important, so if you choose to put Empire Carpet in your bathroom it's advisable to mop up any water that spills on the bathroom carpet with a wet-vac.
